New building assembly- and storagebuilding

The assembly and storage building joins a sequence of three equal-sized buildings on the urban master plan, which wurm+wurm has developed for the factory buildings of auma in Müllheim. The cuboid building is divided by the vertical layering of the materials used are arranged with a precision designed joint pattern. Cladding panels in stainless steel, exposed concrete elements, large-format window elements and translucent polycarbonate plates as upper closure form the canon of material.
The roof, which overhangs far in the loading area is also covered homogeneous with the plastic plates at its bottom side and it evolves in lighted state into a levitating light volume..
