Marijke van Warmerdam. Then, now, and then

The exhibition »Marijke van Warmerdam. Then, now, and then« consists of fourteen new films that the artist made during a residency in Rome in 2017 and subsequent visits to the Italian capital. They portray Roman street life: the joggers, the motorists, the shoppers, and of course the lovers. Together, they form a series in which present, past, and future are linked together.
