Forum bridge and Capitania building

 Back to Projects list
Location
Barcelona, Spain
Year
2004

We understand the Forum as that portion of the urban or city where the urbanism didn’t wanted to erase all old traces,  and where the new planning barely got to put the pieces together, and on the other hand, was able to reconnect as volumes magmatic to represent modernity.

Everyday stories that are filled in the squares and streets of the cities. It only requires a moment of calm, sections of major roads full of noise, to hear them. Just so happened that we liked in this area of the footbridge, no cars, just as happens in the passages of cities near major avenues. This also fixed the project at the last possible space Barcelona’s Diagonal Avenue.
