In April 2000, Christian Gaus took over the skills of his father's architectural office and developed it into an agile company. Together with his wife Saskia Gaus-Mens, he has been shaping the office independently since November 2019. The multicultural team of around 20 people is colorful and full of personalities: Experienced and young professionals work collaboratively, dynamically, committed and on an equal footing.
The team at Gaus Architekten plans suitable concepts for buildings that meet current and future requirements - architecture with its finger on the pulse.
Our aim is to combine function and aesthetics in buildings or residential quarters in a clever, contemporary and sustainable way. This includes commercial and public projects as well as private ones. The approach is interdisciplinary: architecture, interior design and open space design are thought holistically; with internal and external experts and cooperation partners.
For Gaus Architekten, the responsible use of natural resources is a matter of course, because the company plans and builds for people who should feel comfortable in their living and working environment. Economic, social, sustainable goals in dialogue with all project participants - our clients, the users, experts and the public - lead to individual, tailor-made results, based on many years of experience and competence.
For Gaus Architekten, the appreciation and satisfaction of the client are in the foreground. We work with them at eye level.
