The Eiffel tower - the unchanging symbol of the Parisian skyline - shows on the second glance, a very lively history. Both arrangement as well as utilisation of the pavilions of the first platform documents a constant interplay between the two spaces since their construction.

This concept focuses on two main ideas of the historical development : that according to the original plans of 1881, one can freely circulate the gallery to access the pavilions on the outside, strengthening the external reference of the entire ensemble and offering a constant view of Paris as if from its heart. In clarity and openness it is inspired by the modern and elegant interpretation of 1937.

After numerous tests and experiments regarding spatial interaction, the choice of the rounded layout offers the visitor maximum mobility and easy orientation. Spatial generosity and intuitive orientation, coupled with the formal contrast of the flowing forms to the linear structure, are the primary motifs of the project.

Large glazed sliding elements, similar to a cabriolet, in order to strengthen the reference to the area and a unity between indoor and outdoor spaces on the platform to create the pavilions were by.The combination of spatial disposition and architecture created a multilayered visitor concept, the different temporary cycles appealing to various target audiences.
