„The floor represents many things – It is the lower ground plane of the space and completes our perception of a room. It forms the horizon line and gravitational plane in the design of a three-dimensional space. Last but not least, “floor” and “ground” provide much of the symbolic imagery that enriches our communication. Feet on the ground and ear to the ground stand for realism and receptiveness. A floor must do a lot - it is subjected to the greatest demands in the room. It must feel good, look good; ideally it should last forever and never get dirty. Fibre floor coverings are becoming more and more important. They are being emancipated and increasingly breaking through from the residential world to the workplace. The Innovations@Domotex Tours can sensitise users and designers to this trend.” Klaus de Winder

The Guided Tour will be conducted in english or german language.
