Yukio Futagawa, the architectural photographer and founder of Global Architecture Publishing Group, died from kidney cancer on March 5 in a Tokyo hospital. For six decades Futugawa photographed buildings and presented them in GA Architect, GA Document, and other parts of his GA publishing group. Easily his most famous output is the 12-volume complete works of Frank Lloyd Wright, though he will be remembered for his insatiable interest in international architecture and his care in photographing and presenting it. According to The Architect's Newspaper, "GA will continue to operate under the new leadership of Yukio’s son Yoshio."
