Vía Cordillera is a 120-hectare mixed-use development created by Desarrollos Delta and designed by Mario Schjetnan.

The Via Cordillera project was conceived to revive the area with the construction of mixed-use buildings integrated within a circular form. The circle repeats in a concentric form in order to delimit the avenues and paths that come together in the central area, where the commercial spaces are located. Mixed-use and residential areas are located on the periphery.

This urban center is located within a circle of all different types of buildings, with the goal to create a “city within a city” where residents are able to carry out all kinds of activities without leaving home.

The design of the urban center was created with attention to both the exterior and the interior to facilitate social interaction and take advantage of the views of the Sierra Madre, Huasteca, and the city of Monterrey, both from the inside of the apartments, the amenities and the exterior plaza.

After this concept was developed, two mixed-use towers were designed: North Äna Tower and South Äna Tower.

Both towers are 6-stories high with one to two floors used for commercial spaces, 5 floors for apartments with 57 units in total, with amenities on the sixth floor. The towers were adapted to fit the grounds and the transversal break in the terrain is also reflected by the architectural design.
