"It's October, when the light leaves the city in the early evening particularly white. I leave the floating mosque towards the city, where I discover a slightly elevated space on the edge of the Medina. It is as if it had been here forever. Scents are in the air. A group of older men enjoying their tea in front of the stepped wall and comment amused the buzz in the marketplace. A roof like something from another world turns the place into gold vivid light. Over a narrow staircase I climb the terrace and feel completely part of space and light - part of Casablanca."
