A new shared house accommodating 21 people was built in Nagoya. The client is same as the first shared house built next to it.

We attempted a new idea while taking advantage of the successful method at the first building. The existing backyard of the first building becomes a shared courtyard by building the second one. We aimed to be an outdoor place where the residents can share for BBQ or field work. By arranging the individual rooms shifted, a small front yard can be formed. By building two shared houses, it is possible to develop new "shares" including external space.
