Eisenbahnstrasse

The residential building from 1898 on Eisenbahnstrasse comprises 48 residential units and is located in the environmental protection area of Kreuzberg's Luisenstadt. The planning order includes the sensitive renovation of the old existing building, with the focus on the preservation of the old materials, such as stucco elements and tiles, as well as modernisation work. The roof structure will be converted into further residential units, the cubature on the street side should be preserved and only supplemented by additional dormers.

The ongoing renovation project in the inhabited building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020. Facade repair work, energy-efficient refitting and interior design conversions are carried out.
