A renovation project for a cinema complex in “Minami-machida Grandberry Park” where redevelopment was conducted to integrate the building with the nature of adjacent park. Aiming at the experiential continuity with the park and greenery, we planned to create a relaxing movie experience in contact with nature under the concept of “glamping”. In the center of the lobby, a cinematic “symbol tree” that changes over timeis set up using images, reflective materials and wood-like materials to welcome guests. In the corridor, guests will encounter various trees, animals, and light as if you are in a grove, and be guided to the cinema. In addition, in the exclusive lounge on the upper floor facing the atrium lobby, you can spend time before a movie starts with outdoor furniture. We hope visitors will be able to have a movie experience that can only be found in this cinema, while discovering fragments of “glamping” scattered everywhere.
