Dr.-Ing. Alexander Rieck conducts research at the Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart and is partner as well as director of the international architectural practice LAVA. He studied architecture in Stuttgart and Arizona. Subsequently, he worked at the Virtual Reality Laboratory of Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart, amongst other things on the optimisation of digital planning methods. Since 1998, he has been involved in a number of future topics and scenarios, such as Working in the Future in the joint research project OFFICE21, Building in the Future in the FUCON project, the Hotel of the Future in the Futurehotel project, and the City of the Future in the MORGENSTADT project. Currently, the research focus is on the field of digital planning and production as well as on the city of the future. Parallel to his academic career, he and his partners Chris Bosse and Tobias Wallisser founded the international architectural practice LAVA in 2007, with branch offices in Stuttgart, Berlin, Sydney, and Dubai. In addition to the city centre of MASDAR, the office develops buildings and urban districts in Germany, China, Africa, and in the Arabic world. At the moment, the office is designing a science city in Riad and is working on visions for the municipal development of Taif, both being located in Saudi Arabia. Alexander Rieck teaches at the University of Zurich. Furthermore, he acts as an expert for BIM members in the advisory bodies of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects, the Federal Chamber of Architects as well as the DIN standardization committee for BIM. 

Klaus de Winder, Dipl.-Ing. Architekt (Berlin Chamber of Architects) was born in Nordhorn and has been working as a freelance architect since 1991. His references include the involvement in the foundation of the Faculty of Architecture at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences and teaching experience at TU Berlin, Konstanz University of Applied Sciences and University of Nova Scotia in Halifax as well as the implemented projects “Technologiehof Münster” when working with Bolles + Wilson in Münster and the repeatedly awarded “Photonik” for sauerbruch hutton architekten. Since 1999, he and architect Claudia de Winder have been running their own office in Berlin-Kreuzberg with a focus on office design for renowned companies in the New Economy, law firms and the consulting industry.

Réka Visnyei studied interior design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Professor Steidle. After working with HPA architects in Sydney and the architectural office Schmidhuber und Partner in Munich, she founded the ‘ateliersv’ in 2006 and has developed and implemented projects for, amongst others, brands like Mammut, GoPro, Création Fusalp, Audi, Specialized, and General Electric until 2014. Her work has won several awards as well as a German Design Award Special Mention; in 2010, she ranked among the 12 best interior designers in Germany in the context of the INsiderAward. Several projects have been published in various trade journals like AIT, Octogon, Detail, the Messedesign Jahrbuch, and BDIA handbooks. She has been a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects since 2005 and a BDIA member since 2009. From 2009-2010, Réka Visnyei acted as a lecturer for design and object at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. In 2014, she founded the office INpuls interior design architecture. 

Elke Klinkhammer, Chief Customer Officer McCANN Deutschland GmbH, Frankfurt am Main 

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Interior Architect | Senior Associate | Katrin Jacobs studied interior architecture at the University of Applied Science in Rosenheim, and received her degree in 2001.From 2001 to 2006 she worked with Munich architect Nico Wallner on various high-end private residence renovation projects. Since the end of 2006 Katrin Jacobs has been building the interior architecture department for Henn, and is currently leading a team comprised of fourteen architects and interior architects in Munich, Berlin and Beijing. Some noteworthy projects include the re-vitalization of HVB Tower in Munich, and the recently constructed Merck Innovation Center in Darmstadt, and the Zalando Headquarters in Berlin. 

Vanessa Riecke (* 1969 in Hamburg) is an associated partner of Kinzo. She studied at Technische Universität München, were she graduated as Dipl.-Ing. Architektur in 1993. Additionally, she earned her Master of Arts at the Architectural Association in London. Before she joined Kinzo in 2014, she acquired expertise in the fields of town planning, architecture, film, and advertising.

Corporate interior and brand architecture are the core of her activities and passion as a designer. 

Peter Ippolito studied architecture in Stuttgart and Chicago. During this period he was an assistant to Professor Ben Nicholson (Chicago) and collected valuable practical experience in Daniel Libeskind’s studio in Berlin. Together with Gunter Fleitz, he set up Ippolito Fleitz Group in 2002. In 2015, Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz were the first German interior designers to be admitted to Interior Design magazine's prestigious ›Hall of Fame‹. In addition to his creative work, Peter Ippolito has held various teaching positions and is in keen demand as a speaker and as a member of competition juries. Peter Ippolito is a member of the German Designers Club (Deutscher Designer Club).
