OYO is a collective of architects, designers, builders and thinkers active in the field of architecture and planning. The studio has grown from the idea to handle each project in a unique way. Without a pre-determined formal idea, we try to ask the right questions in order to come up with substantiated solutions.
Our goal is to guide clients on a path towards inspiring, powerful and fresh design on any scale. Whether it’s a spoon, a private interior, a luxurious house, an office building or a masterplan, we give full commitment through all the phases and make your project real. We like to challenge ourselves and trigger our clients through intensive cross-pollination. OYO takes pleasure in searching for added value to meet your wishes and demands.
The office was established in 2011 by Eddy Soete, Nigel Jooren, Veroniek Vanhaecke and Lies Willaert and is strengthened by a multidisciplinary team of local and international architects. OYO has been working on projects in Belgium, France, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Sao Tome & Principe and Congo Brazzaville.
Our design draws inspiration from nature with a strong relation to the local context. We try to find a balance between a pragmatic design approach and sensitivity for the local character, the users and materiality.
As an Open Office, OYO is always looking for new adventures and collaborations.
