(LSA) is a full service architectural firm with expertise in historic preservation, rehabilitation, adaptive use, and new construction in the context of historic settings. Established in 1982, becoming a professional corporation in 1987, the firm has been involved with all aspects of architecture and building – from feasibility studies to construction administration – serving as consultants to historic properties and as designers of new projects. Li/Saltzman Architects is certified as a Women-owned Business Enterprise.
Founding principals Roz Li and Judith Saltzman established the firm to focus on architecture and preservation. As of August 1, 2012, with the retirement of Roz Li, LSA continues under the leadership of Judith Saltzman. Intensive principal involvement, skilled coordination of interdisciplinary teams, creativity, and practicality are hallmarks of the firm. Li/Saltzman Architects’ designs, the result of thorough research and thoughtful problem-solving, focus on restoring and enriching the built environment.
