The new residential area Belsenpark is build at the heart of Düsseldorfs’ most exclusive residential area, in the district of Oberkassel. The building block, also called "üarkside one" is framed through mansion houses, which are interconnected towards the North and freestanding units along the South, visually connecting the courtyard with the adjacent park.
The blocks are 4 to 5 storeys high and accommodate apartments of 54 - 208 sqm size, all with at least one balcony. The penthouses are particularly luxurious with their peripheral terraces and floor plans of more than 140 sqm. Johannes Kister about the area, which is planned to be completed in 2014: ‘What’s created is an atmosphere, an unrelenting architectural language, a character: parkside one.’
