Opening of "On Light, Time, and Materiality"

The Julius Shulman Institute (JSI) at Woodbury University is pleased to announce James Florio as the recipient of this year's Julius Shulman Institute Excellence in Photography Award. Florio's work will be exhibited at The BAG (2030 Hyperion Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA) with a free public opening on Friday, April 22, 6-8 pm. 

The exhibition, titled "On Light, Time, and Materiality," will present a selection of images from Florio's book Radical Logic: On the Work of Ensamble Studio. This year, JSI is pleased to present a "triple-header" exhibition featuring JSI Award for Excellence in Photography winners from 2020, 2021, and 2022 at a new exhibition space in Silverlake. Please join us for a grand opening of James Florio, Lee Bey, and Victoria Sambunaris at The BAG.
