Happy Holidays!

Although there is no single answer when it comes to these kinds of things, we are reminded of Jean Nouvel's Louvre Abu Dhabi, which opened to the public on November 11th. Nouvel's design features a layered dome made up of 7,850 unique metal stars that filter sunlight to a series of boxes arranged about some pools. The water features make it seem like the building is floating in its waterfront location – maybe the jellyfish analogy is more accurate than we first thought?
