WAF, now in its tenth anniversary year, is set up in a unique crit format, in which architects shortlisted in numerous categories present their projects in ten minutes to a three-person jury, which then asks questions about the project. The categories fall into two general types: Completed Buildings and Future Projects; winners in the former are in the running for Building of the Year, and those in the latter vie for Future Project of the Year. Day one winners are highlighted below (and one above) with Completed Buildings followed by Future Projects. On day three, all of the winners are presenting their projects to the Super Jury, which will determine the overall winners to be announced tonight.
