House for a Superhero

Inspired by the residence of Bruce Wayne (aka Batman), Melbourne, Australia's Molecule concealed a garage below an existing tennis court in the renovation of a large house.

If excavating underneath the tennis court and garden to create a Batcave-like home for the client's car collection were not enough, Molecule literally hid the garage below a hydraulic ramp:

This section perspective with the ramp on the far left shows the extent of the excavation, which extends close to the house and is linked to it directly through a stair.
