Coinciding with International Women's Day, Architectural Review/Architects' Journal has posted videos from last week's Women in Architecture luncheon, when Amanda Levete and Madelon Vriesendorp received their Jane Drew and Ada Louise Huxtable Prizes, respectively.
Jane Drew Prize 2018 recipient Amanda Levete's 20-minute speech, in which she discusses Future Systems, her practice with Jan Kaplický; breaking out on her own; and recent projects such as the V&A courtyard and Tincan, a pop-up restaurant in London created by her firm:
Ada Louise Huxtable Prize 2018 recipient Madelon Vriesendorp's 10-minute speech, in which she discusses her instantly recognizable artworks but also their misattribution to men:
