Ghotmeh's first completed building in her hometown is located on the edge of Beirut's city center, not far from the explosion that ravaged the industrial port in 2020. Featuring facades of concrete and local earth hand-combed by artisans, the tower — designed to meet earthquake codes — survived the explosion with few scars.
