Architect
Caruso St John Architects is a medium-sized practice with offices in London and Zurich. The practice works in the UK and Europe and is known for its cultural and other larger projects, and its collaborations with artists. The Zurich office is seeking an architect with two to five years’ experience.

Specifically required skills and characteristics:
Experience with sustainable construction incl. the re-use of building materials. Experience and deeper knowledge of building culture from Asia and Europe. Language skills: Mandarin, English, German (basic communication skills). Experience and expertise with international exhibition design in the art world. Experience in model making at the highest level as well as in furniture design including knowledge of fabric and wood craftsmanship. Experience of technical design in Switzerland. Excellent software skills. Honesty, dedication, openness, and creativity.

Academic requirements:
Master's degree from a Swiss university. Advanced studies (MAS) desirable.

Desirable:
Experience of ArchiCAD / Rhino / Adobe Suite / digital fabrication and photography.
