With the completion of Hotel Schani Wien in 2015 Archisphere already created a place, which soon established itself as the living room of the new city quarter. Through the addition of an event space on the roof, the hotel sets another example for digital avant-garde and Viennese coziness meeting. In regards to the interior design, the architecture and design studio Archisphere followed the same story line it did when originally designing the hotel. A story of individuality and contemporary spirit with a strong reference to tradition. This is particularly visible through the materials: wood, steel and glass. Thus, architect and interior designer Gabriel Kacerovsky and his team created a harmonious work of art.

The extraordinary wooden construction, is perceived as a "house on a house" and conjures up a very special place with that special Viennese flair. The connection between hotel and event space is emphasized by the titanium zinc facade, covered with a brass-colored sheet metal skin.

Inside, natural, high-quality materials create an atmosphere of well-being. A mix of plywood, painted installation pipes, selected fabrics and brass elements emphasize the individual character of the interior. Tiles in glass block look recall Viennese design history. After all, at the end of the 19th century, glass blocks were used as building elements to - for example - bring natural light into basement rooms. At the beginning of the 20th century, Otto Wagner used the glass blocks we know today as flooring in the Postsparkasse in Vienna.

All the technical requirements that the digital society demands for events have been skillfully integrated into the room concept without coming to the fore. Flexibility was also taken into account. For example, two meeting rooms can be turned into one large one. The playfulness is not neglected either: This can be experienced in the sanitary area where the wall painting is backed with fluorescent colors and only becomes visible through black light. A surprise when the conventional light source is switched off.
On the terrace with its leafy pergola, nature is the designer: a breathtaking view over the Vienna Arsenal and the Sonnwendviertel enchants guests here.

The architecture and design studio Archisphere has skillfully combined past and present at the Event Space at Hotel Schani and created a location where one can excellently work, celebrate or lounge. At lofty heights, innovative ideas are spun, people pursue their thoughts or simply look up into the air and enjoy.
