This Grade II listed house in London dates back to the 1720s and has not been renovated in over eighty years. As a result it was structurally dangerous, as well as being infested with hundreds of pigeons. The internal arrangement was incredibly claustrophobic with extremely low ceilings. The aim of the renovation was to preserve the historic fabric and identity, whilst introducing modern and exciting features to accommodate a modern London lifestyle. The new features introduced contrasted with the old, adding bold architectural forms with a colour concept of orange, pink and red used in selected locations to invigorate the building.
