Renovation and conversion of the indoor swimming pool and sports hall in Mengen.

The Mengen indoor swimming pool is located in a green space on the river Ablach between the primary school and the open-air pool. Three areas - the indoor pool, the sauna area and the sports hall - are combined in the building (year of construction 1972-73). The entire monopitch roof was burnt down in January 2009 and considerable damage was caused to the building by the water used to extinguish the fire. The building was thoroughly renovated and the sauna area was redesigned in the course of the work.
