Sculpture made of cardboard tubes
D’art Design staged the new appearance of the Projektpilot GmbH at EuroShop 2008. It seems to be light, but, in fact, the eyecatcher in the shape of an organic wave made of 8140 cardboard tubes with a total length of more than 10 kilometres weighs 18 tons as a whole. The new appearance of the Projektpilot GmbH at the Euroshop 2008 was awarded with the design award of the federal republic of germany and the ADAM-Award. In its statement the ADAM jury explained why: “A sculpture made of cardboard tubes to touch and interact functioning as a fair booth with the objective to inform and create awareness– that’s in every respect great.”
