Description
As part of the College’s commitment to its visual and performing arts program, ABA developed a Master Plan to evaluate the campus’ arts facilities. The result was a campus-wide arts initiative, including the transformation of an existing 750-seat campus auditorium into a new concert hall and a center for art, film, dance and lectures. ABA’s design reconceived the entire architectural setting, systems, and acoustics, providing a rich, warm interior; new patron services and backstage facilities; and variable acoustics for a range of programs.
This project received awards from the United States Institute for Theatre Technology and the Boston Society of Architects.
