Mingyin is a co-founding associate director at Spark. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 and joined the Alsop’s Singapore office the same year. After working on the Clarke Quay project, she relocated to Alsop’s Shanghai office in 2005 to contribute to projects such as the masterplan for Chen Yifei’s Culture Street.

Mingyin headed the project teams responsible for Zhabei Plot 313, Tianjin Center Retail Mall, the Macau Studio City competition and the Xiangshan International Yacht Club. Mingyin was the project architect for the award-winning Raffles City Beijing project. After the founding of Spark in 2009, Mingyin was appointed to associate director.

In addition to her responsibilities as a project and design architect, she contributes to business development as well as communicating Spark’s design aspirations to potential clients and developers. She now leads an array of projects including mixed-use developments, masterplans and invited competitions.
