Chris Pommer is a founding partner of PLANT Architect Inc. He graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture in 1987, working with Ferguson Ferguson Architects before founding PLANT in 1997. In addition to his role in the field of architecture, Pommer worked as a Senior Designer with Bruce Mau Design in Toronto, exploring type, book, exhibition, and identity. Pommer has both taught and lectured at the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, and University of Manitoba, and he has co-directed an architecture studio at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago as a visiting Professor.
