(born 1966) is managing partner of Schmidt Holzinger interior designers. In 1998 he founded the company together with Ulrich Holzinger. Upon completion of the interior design studies at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt Dieter Schmidt began his career in 1994 in Frankfurt in an architectural firm.

The focus of his work is now in the design and planning of complex spatial relationships for residential and business customers. For the spaces he designed, he worked intensively with action sequences, lighting effects and the use of appropriate materials, colors and shapes.
