Jimmy is one of three partners in Funkia and is an expert in landscape design and cultural heritage. Since 2010 he is an accredited architect for the National Property Board of Sweden. Throughout the years, Jimmy Norrman has done a wide range of projects and is also an assembly member of Swedish Architects. His works includes both planning and designing dwelling areas, parks and public spaces in the city.

A small selection of Jimmy Norrman´s recent or undergoing work is the plaza of Forum Skeria in Skellefteå (2002), the plaza and streetscape of Teaterplatsen, Hofors (2005), the plaza Klacktorget (2009) and the plaza Jan Stenbecks torg both in Stockholm (2010), and the waterfront dwelling areas Söderkaj (2012) in Halmstad. 

Undergoing projects are a Design programme for Riddarholmen in Stockholm, plaza of Orvar Bergmarksplats in Örebro, the residential housing Qvarnen Tre Kronor in Stockholm and designing the park Fittja Äng in Botkyrka.
