Callum Fraser
B Arch (Hons) RMIT
Callum is the sole director at Elenberg Fraser, and co-founder of the company. He is a renowned architectural innovator, responsible for landmark buildings and design proposals through the city. As the director responsible for the design direction of the office, he has coordinated the successful projects for the firm including Watergate and Site One along with smaller commercial and retail tenancies such as Gingerboy – a diverse range of detail. His specific interest is in environmental sustainability and the minimisation of the effects of construction and building occupation on the environment. A key denominator in Elenberg Fraser’s work is that the client base is developer driven and his ability to provide a world class design with the ‘bottom line’ being at all times considered to ensure economic viability for the project and client. Callum’s expertise is in creative masterplanning, best represented by the large scale urban projects completed and in construction.
Callum is often invited as a guest lecturer at institutions such as RMIT, Deakin & Melbourne and Queensland Universities and lectures widely on the work of the practice, its competitions and various research and development initiatives. He has also been a jury chairperson and member for the AIA Commercial and Residential Architecture Awards.
