Philosophy

Pentagram is the world's largest independent design consultancy. The firm is owned and run by a group of 16 partners who specialize in different areas of architecture, graphic design and product design. Pentagram's three architect/partners work in a wide range of building types and client profiles. The practice provides services to private and commercial clients whose projects include private residences and housing, corporate headquarters, restaurants, museums, retail interiors, iconic structures and exhibition design.

Architecture, as with all the other disciplines at Pentagram, embraces the tenet of clearly communicating ideas through design. For most of our clients “Architecture is Identity” and the work of Pentagram has always distinguished itself by bringing the client’s identity to the foreground.  Like our projects in graphic, interactive and product design, our architecture strives to create not just unique images, but ones that clearly communicate the essence of the client in the context of the city, the marketplace and the culture.
