P'ARC

P'ARC, a studio founded in 2001 by Enrica Dall'Ara, landscape architect, PhD in landscape design, deals with landscape design at all scales and in different contexts, urban, peri-urban and rural,  following each phase of the design process: from landscape planning to detailed design of parks, gardens, urban open spaces and equipment, including the artistic and technical supervision of the works.
P’ARC brings together sound site analysis and planning  and aesthetic research, in order to meet practical needs and seize socioeconomic opportunities, while preserving art intention in design.
Through a network of architects and landscape architects and colleagues from other disciplines (biologists, environmental engineers, agronomists, social scientists, economists ...) from different countries, depending on the specific needs of each site and the themes of the project,  allows a continuous recalibration of the design approach and methods.

Landscape exists when the elements of nature, architecture, agriculture, infrastructure which occupy a space meet a look that frames them and perceives a unitary and significant image, a powerful image. At the same time, landscape is a poetic work (from the ancient Greek poiein, to make, to create), that is something that is built with the aim of an inner beauty.
These concepts give rise to a landscape design approach that involves architecture, with a focus on mathematical proportions, the search of harmonic rithms, meditated geometries, but able to lighten, to vibrate, especially in projects away from the urban context, aware of the nature of process that the  landscape possesses. A desire for a blending in the naturalness, for an architecture that evaporates, to respect and promote ecosystemic, environmental values, and, in a broader sense, for breath, to give way to the nature. Also human nature. So the projects did not search a style, rather a correspondence with the natural and human functions and degrees of freedom for the tastes and culture of the people. They aim at prefiguring scenarios, on the one hand expressive and on the other docile to the appropriation by the community.
