Most Liveable City: Zurich
Monocle magazine's 2012 "Quality of Life" survey has been released, and Zurich, Switzerland—home to World-Architects.com—tops the list. This short film shows that there is more to Zurich "than beautiful architecture, clean living and stunning scenery." The magazine edited by Tyler Brûlé applauds, among other things, the city's cultural institutions, highlighting the conversion of the Löwenbräu brewery into a mixed-use arts complex to serve the city's growing population. Interviews with people like Anna Schindler, Zurich's Director of Urban Planning, hit on the city's great infrastructure, transportation, social sustainability, and most important, appreciation for the good life. jh
