Platform for Architecture + Research

Platform for Architecture + Research (PAR) is an office interested in architectural possibilities. Setup as a platform for exchange within a global context, our approach brings diversity of thought and inquiry to a design process resulting in a whole greater than the sum of it’s parts. Without preconception, our working method aims to translate an ongoing effort of spatial and cultural analysis into intelligent building form.

At present, PAR is working, amongst other things, on a harbor terminal and tower in Taipei, a resort in Uruguay, two private flats in New York, and a house in the Hollywood Hills. Since 2011, we’ve begun exploring programmatic complexity through international competitions for cultural and civic projects. PAR is led by two partners, Jennifer Marmon and Angus Goble.
