Hotel Conrad

Enjoyment in the open air – Located in the heart of Ireland‘s beautiful historic capital, amid cobbled streets and winding walkways, the Conrad Dublin sits opposite the gardens of St. Stephen‘s Green and overlooks the majestic National Concert Hall. To allow a view in the open air, an event platform with wind-, sun- and rainprotection has been constructed. The equipment has been adapted to the comfort of the hotel  by furnishing it with lounge and design furniture as well as a matching outdoor bar.

Textile Outdoor architecture – By the input of the tulip umbrella, consisting of a fire-retardent membrane as well as an aluminium frame with lighting, this ‘modern’ parasol perfectly matches to the environment of the Earlsfort-Terrace. This umbrella has a 100mm pole in diameter, the membrane is made out of 100% polyester fabric with a weight of 260 g/m; white color of the cover creates a fascinating atmosphere when being lighted from the  ambient light or act by theirselves as a lamp. Furthermore sofas, lounges and heatable seats have been integrated for comfort. Additionally wind walls protect the guests of wind. In order to get a free view, those wind walls can be folded down. To compensate the Irregularities of the ground, a so-called ‘event-platform’ has been installed beneath the entire surface. For hospitality of the guests a small bar has been integrated, which invites you to dwell there in the evening.
