kister scheithauer gross architects and urban planners stands for the intensive dialogue between location and typology. From this superordinate context we develop from abstract visions concrete building sculptures, the symbolism of which moulds place and type.

From an amalgamation of young Cologne architects Prof. Johannes Kister and Reinhard Scheithauer founded in 1992 kister scheithauer & Partner. Since 1997 Prof. Susanne Gross has supported the partnership kister scheithauer gross as third partner. Since 2006 the partnership has been a limited liability company under the management of Reinhard Scheithauer. Eric Mertens is further director since 2008.

Our range of services encompasses the design and realisation of buildings, the development of town planning concepts as well as the production of experts' reports. As responsible general planner and also as the classical architect in all phases of work our company has operated successfully in Germany and abroad for almost 20 years. We currently operate from our two locations in Cologne and Leipzig with a team of 50 employees.
