Innovation is the opposite of insistence on a position. By innovation we understand the conceptual response to changing requirements and the resulting design development. A tight cost and time frame is seen as an incentive to seek new paths and therefore does not lead to a renunciation of architecture. Thus, despite increasingly simple structures, distinctive and highly concise buildings can come into being by means of unusual choices of materials and clear geometries. We therefore seek to develop coherent approaches to well-functioning and beautiful buildings - no more and no less.
