Position

Whatever the function of a building, we approach design in a distinctive contextual way that makes each project unique. Not only do we make inventive use of the physical and natural resources of a site, the surrounding landscape and regional climate, but our designs also speak of and interpret the cultural and historical context in which they are situated.

This approach combines openness to a brief and willingness to embrace the messy and difficult, in order to ultimately design for people to enjoy their spaces. What results is an inclusive architecture of richness, texture, and diversity, and this, we think, is what makes our buildings special.
