The foundations for DFZ Architects GmbH were first laid in 1976 with a partnership between Isabell Feest and Peter Dinse. In 1990 it grew to become Dinse Feest Zurl Architects, under the leadership of Peter Dinse, Johann Zurl, Nicolas Britsch and Stephen Kausch. With 38 years of experience in planning and realization, we are distinguished as a competent and reliable partner. We specialize in the development of customised and sustainable solutions for a wide range of building projects, from the reconstruction and modernisation of historic buildings to the completion of complex new building projects at both regional and national levels. Regardless of the type and size of the task, we strive to provide the highest standards of quality and distinctiveness in design. Our aim to always approach a project in its entirety requires us to offer a wide range of services. We are passionate in our search for clear solutions to complex problems, whilst never sacrificing attention to detail. In this way, we understand architecture as a continuous interplay of body, space and light in the context of place. We work closely with our clients through the life of a project, from the initial meeting through to the handing over of a building, to ensure an economically, functionally and aesthetically pleasing solution to even the most challenging of demands.
