Blocher Blocher India Pvt. Ltd. is the Asian subsidiary of the German-based company Blocher Blocher Partners, the internationally renowned firm for architecture, interior and design. It was founded in 1989 in Germany. Today, 150 Employees work for the company.
  
The office plans, develops and realises world class architectural and design projects. In India, the core businesses are commercial and retail projects as well as private residencies. “Our concepts are created to fit perfectly each client’s needs. We express the company’s personality through building and design and – by doing so – emphasise their individuality,” says Kreutz. “With us, companies are able to differentiate themselves from their competitors.”

The office combines widespread activities ranging from architecture and interior design to brand development and corporate design. The ability to offer all these related services at once makes the company stand out: Blocher Blocher India focuses on the whole process not just on the architectural concept. Being the one single source for a project, the company is able to find the best solution for each client – tailor-made. This is only possible by closely working with the clients and supporting each one individually. “We start off with a close look at the company and its needs as well as at the target group” says Kreutz. Therefore it is important for the firm to know the Indian culture and the spirit of its clients. But this is not enough. As the world gets more and more connected and people collaborate internationally, it also is a key factor to stay up-to-date globally. The company keeps up with the latest trends and developments and is able to offer an international, globalized perspective. The Indian office brings together the best of east and west – an amalgamation of two worlds.
 
All this convinced well-established companies such as Pantaloons, Madura Garments Lifestyle (e.g. The Collective, Planet Fashion, Van Heusen) and the SKNL Group (e.g. Reid & Taylor). The impressive Mondeal retail Park in Ahmedabad was also created by Blocher Blocher India. Additionally, the architects are developing a landmark building in a top location in Ahmedabad, the Mondeal Square Complex. Blocher Blocher India’s projects are highly praised. Amongst others, the company won an award for retail excellence at the Asia Retail Congress and an award by VM&RD for their design for Planet Sports.
