Studio Gang's 'Hive' Unveiled

Washington, DC's National Building Museum has released renderings of Studio Gang's "Hive" interactive installation that will be on display this summer as part of the museum's annual Summer Block Party series.

Following the success of the multi-phase Chicago Riverwalk designed by Ross Barney Architects, Mayor Rahm Emanuel has announced the Chicago Urban River Edges Ideas Lab, which "will engage architectural firms to explore ideas for the development of Chicago's public river edges."

The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York has unveiled plans for exhibits and programs in the new Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation designed by Studio Gang Architects.

The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) has unveiled expansion plans by Chicago architect Jeanne Gang for the $325 million, 218,000-square-foot Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education and Innovation.

On Wednesday Chicago's City Council approved the construction of filmmaker George Lucas's Museum of Narrative Art, designed by China's MAD Architects for a lakefront site between Soldier Field and McCormick Place.
