The new International Centre for Cave Art in Montignac, France, welcomes visitors to an immersive educational experience of the prehistoric Lascaux cave paintings. Architects Snøhetta and SRA, alongside scenographer Casson Mann, worked closely with a team of archaeologists to create a holistic museum and educational experience.

Earlier this month Oslo's Snøhetta won the competition for the new Banque Libano Francaise (BLF) headquarters in Beirut with a design that features large planted terraces carved into the checkerboard-clad tower.

In addition to its annual Honor Awards, announced in January, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) recently announced the awards it gives out in the categories of housing and libraries.

Last night the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIANY) announced the winners of the 2016 Design Awards in four categories: Architecture, Interiors, Projects, and Urban Design.
