Pierre Chareau: Modern Architecture and Design opens tomorrow at The Jewish Museum in New York. Billed as "the first U.S. exhibition devoted to [the] visionary French designer and architect," the show is notable as well for its technological design by the architecture studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R).

The Shed, part of the huge Hudson Yards development in New York that bills itself as the city's "new center for artistic invention," has released a fly-through animation of the Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R) design now under construction.

The preliminary, approved design by Diller Scofidio + Renfro for the David M. Rubenstein Forum, a new hub for convening and scholarly collaboration, has been unveiled by the University of Chicago.

The Obama Foundation has posted interviews with the seven finalists for the Obama Presidential Center (OPC) to be built on Chicago's South Side. Among other things, the architects were asked what their favorite Chicago building is and why.

The University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) opened its new Diller Scofidio + Renfro-designed home on January 31st with the exhibition Architecture of Life, running until May 29th.

The much-anticipated opening of The Broad, the museum designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro for Eli and Edythe Broad in downtown Los Angeles, takes place on September 20th.
