The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has named architect Richard Murphy’s own house in Edinburgh, Scotland, as its 2016 House of the Year.

SANAA's River Building, which snakes its way across the landscape of New Canaan, Connecticut, has won the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP) that is given out every two years by the Illinois Institute of Architecture (IIT).

Three winners of the new American Architecture Prize, which honors designs in the disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture, were announced on October 3rd, World Architecture Day.

Caruso St John's gallery in Vauxhall, south of London, which serves as a free public gallery for artist Damien Hirst's private art collection, has won the annual prize from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) that honors the UK's best new building.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, designed by Hargreaves Associates, has been awarded the Rosa Barba International Landscape Prize, which was given out last week as part of 9th International Biennial of Landscape Architecture under the theme "Tomorrow Landscapes."
